Vietnamese-American DJ and producer Softest Hard (Collective Followers) describes herself in the beginning of her career as “just someone who loved music and playing with ideas.” She is a self-taught artist. In the beginning of her career she made playlists and mixes on garage band and started uploading them to Soundcloud. She recently released a song with T-Pain that has received over 1 million streams. Her “Have Mercy” remix has also received over 1 million streams. Softest Hard has previously performed at EDC, The Friendship, Decadence, and many clubs. She has reveived press support from Billboard, EDM.com, Her Magazne, UPROXX, This Song Is Sick.
